You wouldn’t tackle a mountain without a guide you trust

The Matterhorn – one of the most iconic and demanding peaks in the Alps – holds special meaning for us. When Jim Keeling and his brother Simon climbed it with the help of an expert guide, they saw clear parallels with selling a business.

Both can be complex, with hidden crevasses and unexpected turns.

We guide private company owners every step of the way, whether they’re selling their business, raising capital or making acquisitions.

Broader Thinking, Higher Values

Our founder, Jim Keeling, established Corbett Keeling 30 years ago to spearhead integrity in corporate finance. He wanted to guide clients in the same way his father and grandfather had — with honesty and a sense of responsibility. Jim’s wife, Emma, who also has a background in corporate finance, joined as COO in 2015.

We are an independent, London-based corporate finance firm, specialising in selling privately-owned UK companies valued between £10-150 million. We offer a tailored, personal service, guiding our clients through successful transactions every step of the way. As a family-owned business, free from constraints and conflicting interests, we take a long-term view.

Our broader-thinking approach is underpinned by the high values of our founder, who is a stickler for telling the truth. We’re proud to achieve an average 40% uplift in sale value for our clients compared to their initial expectations, along with a 90% deal completion rate.

Proud to support our clients in realising the value of their business
