Broader Thinking, Higher Values
Our founder, Jim Keeling, set up Corbett Keeling 30 years ago to spearhead integrity in corporate finance. He wanted to guide clients the way his father and grandfather had done, with honesty and a sense of responsibility. Jim's wife Emma joined as COO in 2015.
We are an independent firm with a strong focus on selling UK privately owned companies, we deliver a tailored and personal service to our clients. As a family owned business without the constraints and conflicting interests of other departments and shareholders, we’re able to take the long view.
Our deeper understanding approach is underpinned by the high values of our founder, a stickler for telling the truth and putting the interests of our clients first, even when this is costly to our firm. We’re proud to achieve an average 40% uplift in sale value for our clients compared to their initial expectations, along with a 90% deal completion rate.
Our 3 Cs Approach
Our aim is that every transaction on which we advise results in the optimal mix of what we call the Corbett Keeling "3 Cs". Having listened carefully to our clients' objectives, our approach ensures they achieve the best possible combination of:
- Cash received – maximised
- Certainty of deal completion – greatest
- Chemistry – best fit with the counterparties

Corbett Keeling is proud to support Home for Good, a charity dedicated to finding a home for every child who needs one. Every 15 minutes, a child comes into care in the UK. We all have a part to play to ensure that every child and young person has the home they need to thrive – Jim and Emma Keeling are delighted to be able to play their part by providing the Home for Good team with office space as well as supporting them on the ground.
