David Crickmore Consumer

David has extensive experience in all aspects of the luxury goods sector, having worked for over 30 years in senior roles across the full range of brand disciplines, ranging from retail, design, product development, finance, wholesale, licensing, franchising, product-outsourcing through to manufacturing, both sourcing through third parties and in-house manufacturing.

Most recently, David worked in the Gulf for 14 years (based in Oman) as CEO of Amouage, where he oversaw the repositioning and international wholesale and retail development of this luxury fragrance, bath, home and accessories brand, growing sales from $1m to over $70m during his tenure. Prior to this, as Interim Managing Director, he prepared Duchamp, the luxury accessories and shirts brand, for sale. He was Managing Director of international menswear designer Ozwald Boateng, which included negotiating with LVMH, for Ozwald to be appointed as the menswear designer at Givenchy and, before that, of luxury country lifestyle brand Farlows Group.

Earlier in his career, David launched Nautica Europe, prepared Pringle of Scotland for sale by the Dawson Group, developed a manufacturing analysis for Burberry and held other senior, international roles with the Florida Group, Nigel French International (brand consultancy), Alfred Dunhill and Daks. David lives and breathes brands and provides invaluable advice to Corbett Keeling’s clients in the luxury goods sector.
