As a Corporate Finance Manager at Corbett Keeling, George advises owner-managed companies on mergers and acquisitions, working closely with shareholders from initial discussions through to completion. Many of his client relationships begin well before a transaction is contemplated and continue long after.
Before joining Corbett Keeling, George spent two years at New World Corporate Finance as a Senior Associate, where he advised founder-led businesses and private equity clients on sell-side and buy-side mandates. His experience includes the sale of a specialist cables manufacturer, a UK solar panel installer sold to Calisen – a renewable energy platform backed by Goldman Sachs and Mubadala – and a wealth manager with approximately £2bn of assets under management sold to Söderberg & Partners.
George qualified as a Chartered Accountant through the ICAS graduate scheme at Deloitte, where he worked within the Investment Management and Private Equity audit team with clients including Apollo and Troy Asset Management.
He holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bristol. Originally from Norfolk, George has played golf from an early age and is a keen and competitive player.
