Matthew is an Associate Director at Corbett Keeling, where he advises owner-managed businesses through complex transaction processes. Known for his thoughtful approach, Matthew helps business owners achieve their goals by striking the perfect balance between cash, chemistry and certainty.
Matthew joined Corbett Keeling as a summer intern in 2019 and has progressed through the firm, becoming a Corporate Finance Analyst in 2020 upon graduation from University, and a Corporate Finance Manager in 2024, before being promoted to Associate Director in January 2026. He has played a leading role on a wide range of transactions, including advising Arishta on its growth capital raise and the acquisition of residential nursing home provider A&R Care, and continues to support the delivery of its wider buy-and-build strategy. He has also managed key workstreams on significant sell-side transactions, including advising QX Global Group on raising over £100m of investment from Long Ridge Equity Partners and advising Principle Cleaning Services on its sale to an Employee Ownership Trust.
Matthew holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Nottingham, where he also pursued his enthusiasm for squash, representing both England and Great Britain at junior and university levels. His competitive spirit, combined with a strong team mindset, continues to shape his approach to advising clients today.
